What are cookies?

Cookies are very small text files that are stored on your computer when you visit some websites.

How I use cookies

I only use cookies as strictly necessary in the operation of my website to collect anonymous data via Google analytics on how visitors use our website (such as numbers, where from, time spent, pages viewed, visitor returns) – so that we can improve the site and allow you to share pages with others on social media.

By using my website, you are consenting to this use. If you do not consent, you must disable cookies in your browser, but this may stop the website from functioning properly on your device. Google have an add on to their browser to help you control which cookies you are happy with and which you’d like to disable. You can download this add-on by clicking here

I try to use as few data collection plugins as possible but there are some which I use to help me to determine who is using my website and how I can use the website to serve people well.

I use Google Analytics – this tells me how my website is performing on search engines, which pages people spend the most time on, how they have found Simply Sites as well as the rough demographic information of my audience (age, gender etc). You can view Google’s Privacy Policy by clicking this link.

You will notice that I have a mailing list which you’re welcome to sign up to. I send a weekly email on a Friday and may occasional send mid-week emails. I use MailerLite as my email list manager, you can view their security and privacy information on their legal page by clicking this link. You can opt out of my emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the footer of the emails.

I use Calendly for scheduling Zoom calls. When booking a call you’ll be asked to provide an email address for me to reach you on. This email address is protected under this privacy policy. You can also read Calendly’s privacy policy by clicking this link.

If you contact me via the contact form on my website, in doing so, you are consenting for me to respond to your enquiry via email. Contacting me via my contact form will not add you to my mailing list and I will not contact you via email for anything other than your enquiry.
